Atheris Ecological Consultancy Services

We undertake baseline surveys, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA), Phase 1 Habitat surveys, UK Habitat Classification (UKHabs), ecological walkovers, and Preliminary Roost Assessments (PRA) for bats.

These surveys or similar are generally the starting point to establish the baseline of a site and to work out the next steps for your project. We design, manage, and complete a variety of Phase 2 surveys including, protected species surveys, floral and habitat surveys and provide input into land management and conservation projects.
Our reporting and licensing works involve EcIA’s (Ecological Impact Assessments) for small and large schemes, working within designated sites, providing mitigation and informing detailed design, including input into indirect effects such as air quality and light pollution. ATHERIS and its team of Associates are highly experienced in a wide range of protected species licensing applications throughout England and Wales.
